Future Mods - Recommendations

I've been contemplating which mods I should pursue next. So I thought I'd ask and get some feedback.

Current Setup
--------------------------------------
94 RS sedan
automatic (don't harass me about this but i will eventually do the swap =P)
aem CAI
SS magnaflow muffler with 2.25" axleback (last muffler rusted out)

Option A - Complete the I/H/E system
----------------------------------------
- add a 4-2-1 header (i need the powerband shifted down since i don't live at 5000+ rpm)
- high-flow cat
- 2.25 midpipe

Questions:
- will the 2" collector suffice?
- SS or ceramic?
- any problems with emissions?

Option B - Suspension Upgrade
------------------------------------------
- koni yellows
- h&r or neuspeed springs (might switch to tein ss coilovers)
- neuspeed/type-r front strut bar

Questions:
- assuming average of 1.8" drop, do you guys have difficulty in winter?
- i'll be running on 14" steelies in the beginning so will that pose any big risks?
- camber kit? new LCA?

Option C - Just Save and do the Swap
-------------------------------------------
- B18C1 with LSD

I'm open to suggestions. Thanks =)

You gotta state some goals....

Suspension goals....slammed, drop, comfortable ride, handling, for looks???
motor goals......1/4 mile speed, peak horsepower goal, peak torque goal???

but out of all of them, option c is the best that you listed

I'd tap option c but, I agree with Trenell. What do you want to achieve?

Suspension is the way to go. There's no point replacing a working drivetrain with another working drivetrain. If you blow it then upgrade. In the meantime try to get the most out of what you have. If you're looking to track or autoX it, you'll find tires and suspension the best 2 mods you can make. After those are in place, learn to drive it at it's limit then add more power/speed. Swaps have the potential to give you many heartaches and cost way more than you bargained if you go to the wrong place, whereas a suspension will do nothing but love you. :)

i'd say go with the gsr swap.

suspension upgrade, new lcas as the bushings in the stock ones will be seized and between the cost of the bushing itself and the time it to heat up the bushings or labor to pay someone else to remove it, even if you just bring them the arms will end up about the same. it might be time to change the ball joints and the bushings in the front lcas too. do a manual swap with an si tranny or itr tranny mated to your current longblock (provided it's healthy). maybe hold off on the lsd until you pull the motor out to swap it with a gsr longblock.

if the body has quarter panel rust and the holes holding the bumper have rusted away and you plan to keep the car looking mint, sell it for a car with a rust free shell, as fixing quarter panels properly isn't cheap. and if you don't really have a need for 4 doors, sell it for a gsr to avoid the car becoming a BIGGER money pit than it needs to be.
