fuel stablizer

so i went out and bought some fuel stablizer today. i read the instructions, all it says on the label is to add 5 mL for every 1.5L liters of gas and to add to fuel tank before storage and run the engine for 10 minutes.

do i have to add gas to it? it doesn't specify you need to add gas. there's a 1/4 left in my tank.

You don't have to add gas if you mix the exact mixture they recomend. Also, I'm assuming your winter storing your car, the reason for the stabilizer? If so, you should fill your tank right up to prevent condensation from forming in your tank that can cause rust over time.

yea fill the tank is a good idea. your gonna fill it evenutally anyways.find out how much a full tank is and dump it in.

Yup theyre right fill the tank - also they suggest running to to get the stabilized gas into the lines etc. Gas turns into something like a jelly when it sits long enough.
