Door Problem..

I have an issue with the passanger door on my 00' Integra.

When I close the door, it doesn't close 100% firmly. It always leaves a little gap, so much so that when I look closely I can see my VIN tag inside the door. I tightened the silver lock bolts, not too sure what their called exactly, everything looks in order, but for some reason it just won't close properly? Any idea what the problem could be ?

ALSO, my drivers side window is very shakey. When the window is opened, and i close the door, it makes this bad shaking noise, as if it's really loose or somthing?

Thanks.

Vanessa for the window problem, the window could be partially off the track or just needs some of that grease to make it work better again.

for the window being loose. Take off the door panel. look inside at the bottom of the door..and see if u can find a black rubber thing..if it fell off thats why it rattles

See if the door is hanging low when it's open. Open the door and lift it up to see if there is any play. Could be the hinges aren't lining up making it hard for the mechanism to click in place. Could also be the mechanism is done. Could also be the silver latch thing on the frame came loose and moved forward. Loosen it and see if you can push it back a bit. That's all I can really think of. A good body shop guy could tell you right away what's wrong. Try calling Raj at discovery-auto-collision.com and get him to look at it for you. Just tell him Miles from HADA told you to call.
