Default digital pods

I saw this civic few days back. It had a real cool feature.....it had digital pods on the column (not sure if this is what it is called). They are located above the vent on the driver’s side...along the plastic cover that holds the windscreen (I know the frame holds it…just thought this would be easier to explain).
What are these gauges called? What do they measure? How hard are they to install?

They can read all kinds of things. Cyberdyne makes some decent ones and the part to put the guages that your asking is pillar guage pods.

Same as regular guages - depends on what they need to read and where the sensors have to do/go.

indeed these are cool gauges, run more in price then a normal electric/manual analog gauge. Dakota Digital is really popular with the hot rod/street rod crowd but also sell single gauges.
