Diaster!

Hello,

My family recently bought a used 1994 Acura Integra LS coupe and now today we have a HUGE problem. Hopefully someone can help.

The car experiencing a HUGE lack of power, press the gas and it doesn't want to go, it goes oh so slowly even when pressing the gas down.

It seems like its missing gears, can't find 1st, 2nd, etc.

It eventually gets up to your desired speed but you feel like you can't go fast because its going to brake.

What is wrong? Is the automatic tranny toasted?

Argh the friggin previous owners probably didnt take care of it.

actually i had the same problem with my stick teg, it could be something to do with your air sensor, mine was lose or its fucked , check that , this is what i had when i pressed the gas the car was going slower and there was a huge power loss and then it would pick up and then die down again

its prob your torque converter...or the tranny...whats the km?

over 230, 000 KM.

Just to note, seems like reverse gear is totally fine. Hits reserve and all power is fine in that gear, all the rest are not.

Fortunately no, it just sorta happened. Things started going weird though. Engine started to run on 3 cylinders but that was fixed. Now this thing happens, not to mention the rear gets soaked with water.

just to update you guys. We have been getting leaks in the car for sometime now.

My dad and uncle took the car to the mechanic and stuff to check, so once I got home they updated me what happening.

Seems from my understanding that there was water seeping through the front side of the car soaking up the ECU, alarm system and whatnot. The rear leak still happen to, must have been timed before it fucked up something.

Anyway, I was thinking too that it was in limp mode for some reason, must have been because the electrical and ECU was or got soaked.

Still happens according to my dad, it was fine but turned bad again. Maybe I'll swap my ECU and see if it helps.
