DA steering wheel install.
Can somebody post up a DIY for installing an aftermarket hub and steering wheel in a 1990 integra.
Ive searched google for about 10min, all I can find is DC DIYs. Thank you. |
It's the same for pretty much all steering for the older honda. just remove the acura logo, and undo the nut behind it.

People tell me I have to remove some pannels on the side. Unscrew a screw on each side. that will take off the airbag cover. Then i gotta unscrew a t bolt and take the airbag off. I dont want this airbag smacking into my face.
|
Hmm yes, take the airbag cover off, 19mm nut in the center holds the wheel.

Before you remove the air bag, disconnect your battery, take off the negative cable, and turn your lights on for about 10 minutes, that way it makes sure that there is no power left over in the car.

Thx, I dont want to break my nose

I remember yanking on one with battery connected. Did not explode in my face. Then I realixed I had to take two bolts out. Lol
Do you have an airbag? Also I'm quite sure you can just remove the acura logo and you should be able to get to the 19mm nut. |
Oh man it sucks. I do kickboxing, and somtimes I have to wear a plastic mask(not when im fighting, when its recovering) if i break it, just because its so weak now.
