DA seats in EG civic

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has tried putting DA integra seats in a an EG civic? I have DA front seats and hear it is a bit of a task to get the rails to fit in the EG civic.

If anyone has experience with this - any help is appreciated. At this point, I do not think it is worth it as I hear DC seats fits perfectly.

thanks.

ya you heard correctly.
stuffing DA seats in an EG is like stuffing DC seats in an EF.

best to stay DA to EF and DC to EG. pretty much the same seat really but i think the DA and DC used different fabric than each other in there times tho.

i say slap some Gsr leathers in there (obviously DC Gsr tho).

DC coupe seats fit EG hatchback aswell, if you didn't know that either.

hope the info helps, even tho you already knew that lol.:yeah:

i believe DA seat only line up like 3 holes, just like how EK seats only use 3 holes aswell. Yes the DC tegs are the same chassie as the EG civic.

the back right one wont bolt in but the rest will be gravy

I took my seats out to try to fit the DA seats in, rails are definitely different. I only have the front seats. Gonna sell the DA seats and look for DC.

Thanks for inputs.

Will the rails not swap from seat to seat?

I bought a momo race seat and had no choice but to "make" an extra cross brace from 3/4" square tubing. 2 hours later everything worked out.

I think in your case swapping rails sould work. At the worst you may have to redrill a couple of holes.

it should just be the one hole you'd have to redrill.

although.... is it worth it? probably not. just get the right seats.
