Cooling fans not working
i just bought a 93 integra, my first import i have ever owned, had 2 grand prix's and a grand am, now this integra has a B18A1 swap and after starting it and letting it run for 10-15 mins the fans dont come on at all?? could this be a sensor problem?? if so how much do they cost to replace??

Honda/Acura Fans take a long time to come on. Run the vehicle for maybe half hour or more, and look at the fans. With the ac on the condensor fan should automatically kick in. These fans are designed to work at low and idle speed, such as stop and go traffic.

The A/C fan will only come on if the A/C is turned on, that's it. It's most likely your cooling temp sensor. Plus on some vehicles, the fan will only turn on if there is a load on the engine (IE driving the it) and they do not turn on at idle.

Oh okay, well its in london at a shop right now getting safety done ill check it when i pick it up on monday or tuesday, all the A\C has been taken out of the car aswell

Hey Spike any tips on changing the sensor.
|
Keep an eye on your temp gauge while testing...you don;t want to be staring at the engine bay waiting for your fans to come on while the car is overheating.

yeah my tegs did the same thing, i replaced the ect and all was good
