Coolant leaking

i got some coolant leaking close to the rad cap. i always find a little coolant in this area. I put in acura rad 2 yrs ago. no leaks with the hoses and no coolant leaking under the teg.

any suggestion to where this coolant is leakin from?

the rad cap or rad

the rad cap might be diffective and cant handle the pressure biuld inside the rad and starts leaking from the seal.

Yeah mine has the same problem, but its pretty minor, I actually bought a crappy tire cap 4 months ago to try and fix it, but the cap wouldnt even fit! So i just kept the existing one and re-adjusted the rubber inside.

I have an extra one if you want?

possibly a crack where the rad cap screws into? happened to my friend...i mean if you see the coolant leaking from there when the system is under pressure, then why not jb weld the ---- out of it...

or i guess get a new rad...
