Cold Air Intake or Hot Air Intake???

Cold Air Intake or Hot Air Intake???

Opened the hood of my car today, to touch the Aem Air Intake Tube. Really Hot. Was wondering if anyone used some sort of wrap around the air intake tube to keep the temperature down.

There's aDYI for you. DEI also makes a wrap. Don't think you'll notice any performance gains though. Is widely used in road racing but doubt you're getting race temps on the street.
