Clutch
So my clutch is done. Having a hard time getting the car in/out of gear and the clutch isn't disengaging when I put her to the floor.
ANYWAY I need to replace it, I'm looking at about $800 for a full kit installed at my shop BUT I just moved downtown and can't really afford it right now. Any suggestions? |

Don't get a full kit. If you wanna save money, get your flywheel machined, pick up a "stock" clutch (oem equivalent, not stage 2 or anything), and see if someone could do a cheaper install.

I have to agree no point of the kit just get the oem one like regan stated and it will def be cheaper then $800.

A clutch kit by competition clutch is somewhere under 300$. That includes the clutch/pressure plate/release bearing/pilot bearing. If you are mechanically inclined and feel confident in doing this swap, you can find all the information online and ofcourse a service manual.
Otherwise you can find shops that will do your clutch for about 300$. |
B-series clutches can be had for $200 or less even for a stock-type clutch. Check with some of the vendors on here and I'm sure they'll help you out.
