Check the connections or have it tested. I can sell you a good used battery for $28.50 if you need one. |
tighten the loose battery terminal i saw when you were at my house. I believe it was the positive side.
yeh i tightened everyting battery's good , i tried hotwiring the started still just clicking no idea wha it could be , also checked the grounds , grounds are good 2
Check the grounds to the starter, I had this prob last yr with my integra. Make sure the grounds are solid, and good.
Wiggle the wires around, I swore my grounds were good, my friend wiggled the wires around and it turned out the actual Wire itself was no good! |
could be another faulty starter
yeh ill put new ground wires but wha i dont get is that i gave the starter direct power and it was still just clicking so iuno ill give it a try il put new grounds check all the wiring and let u guys know
it could be a faulty starter and its not engaging. try hitting it with something a few times then try and start it
check oil.. i had a 92 hatch civic and it wouldnt start one day and i checked all that..nothing worked then i checked the oil and it for some reason was empty and when i filled it back up.//. up she went
sounds like the solenoid is kicking the gear out but the starter motor isn't spinning the gear
now itworks, iuno wha it was but now the starter works
I Had the same problem in my Da, it use to do the same thing n sometimes it would start but then once in awhile it just didn't want to give me the same reasons as yours i never figured out what it was somebody told me it could have been the relay or something but i ended up swaping the motor n so far i haven't had that problem
