Check engine light code
Hello,
I recently had my timing belt and water pump changed. About 10 min of driving, the check engine light came on. I took it back to where I got it changed and they double checked their work and checked the engine code. It came up as P1336 54...which is "CKF Sensor (Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor". Anybody know where this is or how hard it is to fix and if its worth fixing. The garage said they dont know what it means. I already tried resetting the ECU but it just keeps comming back on. Thank you for your help |
Either they didn't line up the timing belt on the crank and camshafts, or your distributor is done.
It's located inside the distributor. |
