changing spoilers
 
im putting a type r spoiler on my car but my existing spoiler has a brake light and the type r doesnt so im looking for the part number for the rubber piece to fill that hole can somebody please help...or if somebody happens to have that part i will buy it from u.....thanks

I never even knew there was a rubber part that could go there...i just learned something.

There is no actual part that goes and fills it but you can use a rubber grommet available from home depot, cdn tire, parts source, etc that has that diameter. Most people just weld or bondo it before touching up with paint.

I have heard there is a grommet in the engine bay, that fits the diameter but I haven't confirmed that.

^^ ya i heard that too.. i think its the ones that cover up the bolt holes for the stock upper strut tower bars...never tried it myself

those are to cover the 4 smaller holes but there are 5 because of the harness that is built into the low mount stock spoilers for the 3rd brake light. The 5th hole is about 3x the size of the others there fore you need to pull it from the firewall...(I think)

ive heard that there was something you could order im pretty sure from honda but sometimes certain details get lost in translation i guess....ill take a look at home depot i guess an see in i can find anything...if anyone does hear about that part number pls post it
