I have a 99 SE. I changed the front speakers in the bottom of the door to aftermarket Sony speakers.. but I now want to change the tweeters that are in the top of the door panel. what i cant find anywhere is what size do i need? like futureshop's smallest speakers are 3.5" is that what they are?

Almost certain that they are smaller. Take a tape measure and measure tip to tip on it and it gives you your size I think they are 3"...

 

The cover i think is but the tweeter itself is smaller still..

 

so where can i find such a small tweeter? I also heard that some people connect the tweeters to the big speaker in the door.. how do you do that? or what are the advantages..

 

To connect them you just simply splice into the wire of the bigger speakers. Not really beneficial just easier. As to where to get them I'm stumped.
