I am seriously considering the CF hood that another member of a different board is selling. The only issue are a couple of small cracks in the clear. They appear to go all the way to the fibre but Im just not sure what can be done.

I have heard people mention that you can in fact use 1000 grit and give it some shine back. But Im curious about these small cracks, are they hopeless or fixable?



I think the hood will look dead sexy on my Teg and I really want it, I was just thrown off by the cracks and would appreciate any help I can get.

 

No one can give u an answer without seeing it in person.

Most can be removed by sanding and polishing, but some cannot.
