Hey i need people opinions and help.

I bought blox lca from option last and had them installed but my rear sway bar endlinks (stock) dont fit.

I was told by option that i need the blox adjustable endlinks (which are out of stock for)..... that or buy the ASR sway bar kit $400 ish.

Definatly not in my budget at this time.

HOW can i get my car on the road? is there away to get the stock ones to fit properly, any one know any alternative adjustable endlinks or where to get them from in toronto?

IM pretty pissed..... right now im just waiting to see if someone buys ASR swaybar n doesnt want the endlinks or has somthin used. Soo far experence and online searches say i went the wrong way getting blox lca

im serious when i say this....DONT run a rear sway bar man. I didnt, and i LOVED the feeling. Its more predictable and has more oversteer when you really push it.

Dont run a rear sway bar and button up your teg. Problem solved

LESSON LEARNED...... Always do your research. But im stuck right now my mechanic told me when i get the part bring it to him for install.....i dont want to remove them now......when these bushings are toase OEM all the way

Not trying to put you down, but you shouldn't have gotten Blox LCAs in the first place. You will find yourself replacing those months after you install them. You can try ordering the end links online or just don't run the sway bar. The stock rear sway bar is useless.

If you can't afford a new sway kit try getting a type-R sway bar with endlinks or just find some endlinks or you can run without it like Nizmo stated above.

You can drive your car without the rear sway bar.

Removing the rear sway bar will reduce oversteer and promote more understeer.

You should be able to figure something out with regards to end links. They are pretty simple pieces.

I made my own endlinks from scratch on my civic SiR. If you want I can make you a set...?

MPR - i would have taken you up on your offer but OPtion jdm found me asr endlinks and i will be getting them hopfully tomorrow. respect for the offer

as for removing the sway bar and button up the suspention..... what do you mean by button up?

^With a street setup with a typical aftermarket coil-over suspension, you still need to run sway bars for optimal handling. But that can also depend on what suspension you have...

What are you currently running for springs/dampers(shocks) etc...?


P.S. Glad you found some end-links.

Button up, meaning get your car together, assemble every part to get your car street worthy ect.

As for my suspenstion, its nrg shocks, eibach sportline springs, blox lca.

I feel like the rear is sitting lower because the endlinks are missing, does disconnecting the sway bar do that or am i crazy?

The sway bar has nothing to do with the ride height.

And yes, for better handling with those springs/shocks, you'll definitely want both the front and rear sway bars connected and working. I have the same springs on my civic. The sportlines are more of a drop spring than a performance spring.

All the sway bars do is transfer spring rate from the inside springs to the outside springs (decreasing the inside wheel rate and increasing the ouside wheel rate) to control body roll while cornering. They do nothing while traveling in a straight line.

Reason why back is sitting "lower" is because:
A. Most springs lower the back just a tad bit more, but difference is almost unnoticeable.
B. The wheel arches are bigger in the front, therefore the gap is different.

i had blox in mine till they ripped 2 months later, all i used was a regular automotive grade bolt and nut, it doesnt have to be that strong its just a sway bar end link.
