car won't start.. again

Thanks in advance for your help.

This morning my car wouldn't start. This is what happens:
I unlock the car with my pager remote.
Enter the car, put my keys into the ignition and try starting.
The car gives no response other than some alarm beeping sounds or something.
There's no chugging or anything and the battery seems fine as nothing goes dim and the alarm is working perfectly.
So, the car wouldn't start. As I open the door to get out of the car the alarm would start ringing. So, I unlock it again with my pager remote. Weird...

I thought it might've been related to the starter, so I tried banging it a little while someone tried to start my car to jump start it but no go.

Anyone have any ideas?

maybe your alarm killed the ignition? sounds starter/ignition related though.

your alarm isn't dissarming therefore not allowing your car to start

Check your battery connections, ignition, starter...and i'm going out on a limb by saying check your distributor cap.

if ya need a battery, i can deliver under $30 :)

can you try to "jump" the starter to see if it is the starter solenoid

ok, so so far I've changed the alternator and distributor cap/rotor.
The dealer mixed up the starter order so I got the wrong one. Gonna get it exchanged for the right one tmr and get it installed.

The car managed to start after I boosted it yesterday, but today it's dying already... the alarm LED's flashing but I can't auto unlock the car with the remote. Sounds like a weak battery.

Change the battery in the remote

The remote's got a new battery. The car just didn't have enough juice left in it to unlock the doors and disable the alarm. After boosting I disabled the alarm and I'm leaving it off for now until everything's fixed.
