car won't start
happy holidays everyone,
here's my problem: car sat idle for a few weeks in the cold, started it up on friday for a couple of minutes to move it out of the drive way to move some stuff, turned it off and tried turning it back on 10 minutes later but it wouldn't start. It's not the starter and it's not the battery cause it's pretty new and I already tried boosting it, so what else can it be? I ended up having to ditch the car in waterloo for the weekend and hitch a ride back to toronto.. Any help is appreciated, thanks. |

do you hear your fuel pump turning on at all?
can you vertify that your getting spark? |
just got back from waterloo and the car's still stuck there...
Tried changing the spark plugs and wires; still no luck. BTW, I noticed that there's a spark coming out of the distributor cap when I try cranking the car. So, is it the cap, rotor or should I just change both? |
change both...they go hand in hand. should always be changed at the same time
