Car Revving Too High

im doing 120 on the highway and the car revving at 4500rpm in 5th:S:S

approx. 3500 @ 100k

what could it be?

well assuming your tranny didnt swap itself out for a GSR tranny in the middle of the night, i dont know what else it could be other than your clutch slipping.

LOL that sounds about right for what im getting, i do have a GSR...ive been driving a 1.6for the longest time, and since i just sold it, i got this car on the road:S..maybe thats why im used to lower revs...

I also think one of my rear calipers is seazed... maybe its sticking?... anyone experience this problem?

^ let me get this straight. You drive a car with an engine that has a closer gear ratio and your asking why you rev soo high?

hahah i've been seeing alot of facepalm on T.I.

Find a gear ratio calculator online and just do the math. All you need is your 5th gear ratio, final drive, and tire diameter.
