ok i have a question for you pros or someone who jus knows would work aswell. i took my car to the track to mess around on the strip and also i noticed this when it rains. when my front wheels spin out they hop and im curious to know why and how to fix that problem so i can burn some rubber lol

 

Its called wheel hop, it happens when you lose traction, stiffer engien mounts would help.

 

thanks i had a feeling thats what it was any suggestions for good mounts and how much would that roughly cost?

 

A under engine brace would help out aswell.

There are also upper "shock absorbing" mounts that can be added or very easily fabricated to work on your car as well.

They really help with the froward and rearward motion of the motor upon hard launching.

During my RallyX event last Sunday I did a hard lauch in First and then into second. I had insane wheel hop in second. I will definetley add the upper mount soon.
