Car was bogging then shut off on me.
This morning about 7 am I had to drop my sister off to school and since I slept at 3 am I was grumpy n ---- lol so I hopped into my civic without letting it warm up put down the handbrake reversed out of the driveway and I was on my way. Driving down my street taking it out of first gear, rpms dropped...a little too low and car turned off i put it into 2nd and did the "clutch kick manovour"(sp?) that you can turn the car on when its rolling and it didnt work. So the car stopped and I start it up like I normally would. Foot on the clutch car in neutral crank the ignition. Car turns over..and over..and over..and over a good 7-9 times before it started. Then when it did it was idling at about 200-400 rpm till eventually dying 5 seconds later. I started it again same thing. I said ---- it pushed the car back onto the driveway (just myself a 130 lb 18 yr old kid struggling to ----) and went back to sleep lol i got lazy and it was cold. So i woke up again at 12pm ish went to the car and surprisingly cranked and started on its first turn over WTF? I left it to idle to normal running temp then turned it off. Again earlier today i drove it about 10km round trip and back home... ANYONE know what the hell happened to my car? Was it casue it was just tooo damn cold?
any help appreciated. sorry its so long btw!

consider your main relay...
Other then that, check all the underhoods... Fluids, grounds, plugs, wires, filters, etc.
Also, check your fuel pump. Was it priming when you tried to restart it after it stalled?
My money's on the main relay or fuel pump.

Ya i think it's becuase of how cold it was and your in open loop and the car's not using o2 sensor as a guidline for air/fuel ratios and you probaly were just leaning out for a bit untill your ecu figuerd out what was going on wiht evrything its just shooting a random cold start richer then usual mixture to try and warm up to operating temp. You should always let the car run for about at least one minute before driv off, read that once in my owners manual when i was board.

5'10" 145ish, same deal. I don't have to do anything and I always end up at this weight.
Back to the topic. At any point did you step on the gas to try and keep the revs up? It might have just been a frozen up IAC valve.

I did try that but the car bogged even worse and shut off eitherway.
