Car Alarms/Remote Starters

So as you all may have noticed... it's starting to get cold.

I have decided to invest in a remote starter, as well as an alarm system. I have been putting the alarm off for quite some time, but jack frost kicked me in the ass, as these are generally sold together.

My question is this... which one do I choose?

Looking for a reliable starter, but a secure alarm system as well... :nonono:

I've narrowed it down to two options, just want some opinions/advice.
----------------------------------
Option 1: Zenesis ZN502 (Click Link Below For Details.)
----------------------------------
ZEC / Zenesis Electronics Corporation

Any advice is appreciated.

Davis @ Selective Sound is currently having a sale, this is why I brought it up...

Let me know if anyone goes, I'm curious if these prices are good and if they work well.

I've had a Viper, and all your buying is the name....wasn't a good alarm, handset kept on breaking and the range isn't as good as they say it is.

I'm getting a CompuStar PRO P2W9000, I've heard nothing but good things about CompuStar. Lockdown Security will be installing it for me, they do really good quality work, and the owner Jeff is a nice guy.

i install this stuff for a living. in my opinion anything made by DEI is crap. nothing but problems. Compustar is pretty good as is Autostart( recently aquired by DEI. so watch for them to lose quality).

Got my alarm installed, I am not liking this Reservation Mode. It cancells out when you go back into your car, which is incredibly not cool, so you won't be able to remote start your car at a later time.
