Cant open my hood
 

I got a 2000 LS and the latch for the hood inside the car is busted. I tried to yank on the cable, but no luck. How can i open it?

from below. if possible get in from under in the grill.

get all up in yo grill.

i got some mechanic to try STILL NO LUCK

try this.. i had to do it when i put on my jdm front end.. just to let you know, you MIGHT break a clip or two, so check over the lines after doing this. i'm assuming you're gonna use this as a very last resort.

take off your driver side wheel, and wheel well. you'll see your hood latch cable running against the side of the frame. grab it somewhere, (the closer to the latch, the better.) and give it a firm tug away from the latch. if it worked, your hood will open.

Actually the mechanic put my car up oin the hoist and direct released the latch and still nothing. He said it may have "ceased"
