Default Brembo rotors and pads or other for type R

Anybody know where i could get a good price on brembo rotors and calipers around the GTA..
I need all 4 rotors and pads, and i want calipers to make it look good, (do calipers help performance too?). I need a good price, with matching performance to OEM type R brakes.

Or does anyone recommend anything else, and somewhere to buy with them most likely in stock, or short order time.

It is for an integra type R.

Thanks
-Adam

if you want your calipers to look good paint them, i'm saying this because a big brake kit from brembo is probably gonna cost you a nice set of change, or i don't know if this is a direct bolt on or not, you could look into gettin a set of used jdm dc5 brakes...calipers rotors the whole shabang. Shouldn't be over a $1000 for the dc5 and they come with brembo calipers if i'm not mistaken.

brembo blanks and ebc greens or hawk hps should be enough.

I'm running Brembo blanks in front with HPS pads.

I'm waiting for the rear stuff to come in.

Plus I'm also going to install Goodridge SS brakelines.

In my Protege5 (which was 200lbs heavier in stock trim) I ran DOT3 Ford vehicle fluid which I'll run in the teg.
Partly b/c I'm cheap, don't want to flush out the brake system to put in DOT5 stuff, and if I'm low I can just add any DOT3 stuff. I was pretty happy with it on the street and track.

I also ran HP+ pads on the Protege too at the track. I disabled the ABS on that vehicle b/c it pretty much sucked in winter (on winter tires), couldn't find the fuse anyways plus I grew up using threshold braking so it hardly had ABS for the life of the car.

True. Hawk HPS has more bite and better fade resistence than KVR but also has more dusting.

if u just drive ur car daily just buy oem pads and rotors. You will get very good mmileage out of them with no noise and hardly any dust.

If u insist on getting aftermarket brembos and hawk pads etc...try calling tires23. i got a pretty good deal their last summer
