I have a brake problem, I researched on g2ic.com. The pedal goes rite down to the floor, but the master cylinder resovoir filler cup, has no fluid wat so ever. I filled that up, same thing no pressure, the pedal goes directly down to the floor. I replaced the master cylinder before, But i got it used. But on g2ic.com the guys said if your loosing fluid, then It could be a ---- load of air in your line's. They also said it could be a brake line leaking or a internal leak. I checked underneath the car and i saw no brake lines leaking when I got my friend to hit the pedal. But my brake lines are in pretty rough shape. Im just wondering what It most likely could be. Thanks guys.

 

check if there is a leak at one of the calipers.
did you bleed the brakes after?

 

keep on filling the resevior of brake fluid.. pump untill it builds up some pressure, then get a friend to bleed the air out of the brakes. Do this untill air doesn't shoot out of the bleeder screws.

if there is no pressure after a whole ---- load of pumps then you must have a nice leak somewhere, i'd check wheel cylinders and all flex hoses. Could also be the lines under the car

quickiest way is to see if you have pressure, if you have pressure than you don't have any leaks.
cause you can also be leaking in the brake booster. and i'm not sure how g2's are made, but my ef had the brake lines go inside the cabin, and when the lines went it went near the rear passenger seat near the rocker panels. but if the lines run under neath the car than you can easily check as well. just look for any wetness all around the car, espically near bleeder screws and caliper lines.

If your brake lines are old and crapy then I suggest changing them also, I blew a brake line once and it was not fun. Good luck
