LS manual > B20 auto

I would advise against just a straight swap of an B20(B or Z) into your car if you are going to stay automatic, it just doesn't make any sense. You might be a TAD quicker, but for the price I guarantee you will be disappointed. Almost everyone who does a B20 swap into an Integra does so in order to mod the engine, either with a VTEC head, forced induction of some kind, or just to use the larger displacement to get a head start a little bit if you are going to build a Non-VTEC all motor. Otherwise, if you plan to keep the engine stock, there really isn't any point in going through the trouble to swap it in.

I have no idea how much it costs to convert to a manual transmission, but if it is $500 then I would agree that is a much better choice than an automatic B20, or even really a manual B20.

Auto is just not the way to go. My buddy has a 99 prelude with that tiptronic sportshift ----. He got a Jackson supercharger for it and it's still slow through teh shifts... not to mention you can't really burn out.

Stick may suck in traffic but big deal, if you get stuck in traffic all the time you need to find a new route. Stick makes driving worthwhile.

those prices seem like they're for a basic swap, ie, manual to manual... there are alot of extra parts you gotta dish the cash out, and find to complete the manual conversion...and you already know about the labour... anyway heres whats needed

Tranny
Front lower tranny mount
Upper tranny mount
Shiftlinkage / Shifter
Center Console
ECU
Manual Brake / Gas pedal assembly **Not necessary, but prefered**
Clutch pedal / clutch master cylinder assembly
Clutch fluid reservoir and mounting bracket
Hardlines / Coupling (mounts to firewall) **92-95 civic lines will work **
Clutch slave cylinder
Manual Cluster (optional)
All necessary brackets and bolts.

Also, you will need to either:

Cut the upper tranny mount bracket off, and weld in a manual bracket.
or
Get an aftermarket upper tranny mount from Place Racing / HCP.
