battery light?

Default battery light?

well when i start up the ol teg the battery(charging system) light comes on but after i rev it to about 5k rpm it shuts off wtf is goin on here?

I had a similar problem before. It was due to a bad alternator.

hmmmm i kinda live in the middle of nowere so its kinda hard for me to get it tested lol

if you have a multimeter than just check the voltage coming out of the alternator.
if you're getting +12 volts at idle than you're good. if you're getting less than that than its bad.

and have someone rev it pass 5K and if it gives you a +12 reading than you're alternator is almost toast, get it replaced or you'll be stuck one day.
