B20 bottem end parts?

Hey guys hows it all going? I was strongly hoping that I could perhaps maybe recieve open advice on where i could source out parts for the B20 bottem end. I have a b20 B block and I plan on doing a rebuild, but along with the block I plan to do b20 Z pistons, aswell as b20's having quite thin cyllinder walls I need to get my hands on block guards, and rod bearings to insure that the bottem end revs at high rpms without worries do to them having it out of their nature to do so! And maybe if any of you could list prices that will be greatly appreciated because I have to go along with my budget.

So again b20 Z pistons, Rod bearings and Block guard!

Thnks people for the advice, and or suggestions and your time.

The B20Z is the same as the B20B, the B20Z is just newer. Yes it may have more power, but it has a 9.6:1 compression, and the B20b has a 8.8:1 compression. As for parts, the engine is the same, so any parts you find for the b20B bottom end will work with a B20Z bottom end. Eagle makes some good parts for the B20's, and so does Crowler.

You mean what ever parts i find for the b20 z bottem end will work for the b20 b bottem end and thats what I want to do because it runs more compression (pistons),but that still doesnt tell me where I could source out parts for them!

No problem. I'll be buying a set of Crowler cams for my B20B.

pistons - RS machines or dealership
main and rod bearings and thrust washer - ACL
block guard - golden eagle

if you're not boosting or going with some crazy N/A setup you won't need a guard.

find out what size bearing you need before you buy them. hone the mains, rods and cylinders. chances are cylinders 2 and 3 will be out of round, you might as well bore them .25mm or .5mm over.
