b18b head stud removal
 
i have a b18 engine lying around and want to part out the block.
im having trouble removing the studs. i am unable to to get it loose, is there a way of removing it easily?

Like the bolts the bolt the head to the block?

if you mean the head bolts, find a way to clamp the engine so it doesn't turn and get a monstrously long bar, unfasten from the outside corners in towards the center doing one bolt on the left, then right, then left etc till you get to the last one in the center..

Yup, those are pita, used my breakerbar, worked like a charm.

ya its the bolt that holds the head to the block

How do you use a breakbar to remove the bolts.
there are exactly 10 bolts right?

A breaker par is a big ass bar that a socket goes onto. It's like a normal wrench.

hard to do when the engine is not bolted into a car, big long wrench with a big long pipe slipped over
