What would the code # be on those cable trannies? i was talking to a guy about buying one and he told me it would not fit cause i needed a hydro tranny.

Do you have a b18b from a 94-01 integra or is it the ones that came in the da's. If it is from a 94-01 integra motor then a haudrulic transmission is required. If it's in your 94 then it has to be a hydro tranny.

depends if you go with a b16 or gsr tranny has shorter gearing you will have faster accelration or if you use ls rs or gs tranny it will be stock p.s shorter tranny also means higher rpms at highway speeds

Hold the phone.

Your display pic is a DC integra, thus you will need a hydraulic transmission. all 94-01 integras had hydraulic transmissions and any b-series transmission, whether its b18b/b16/gsr/itr will fit on the engine.

If you are installing it in a DA [90-93integra] then you need a cable transmission...

Regarding the b18b discussion, it originally came in DC integras. DAs had b18a engines.

If HAS to be a hydro tranny if it's going to a 94 Teg. A b18b tranny will run you anywhere from 200-500 depends where you look and what you find. Gsr trannies 500-700, ITR trannies for 1000+

B18 and B16 trannies will fit? perfect, i will hunt around just didnt want to spend the money on something that would not fit, thanks guys

No problem, can't remember off the top of my head if B16 came with hydro tranny's.

92blackda 04-19-2011 10:46 PM

civic type r does

D.T.P 04-20-2011 07:03 AM

Yes, b16 came with hydro transmissions. Ex: 99-00 SIR.

Also CTR but gears are tad short, wouldn't really want that for daily, but then again Paul, you are happy with ITR....

AcuratePaul 04-20-2011 04:46 PM

^^^ not as a DD thou. If it was a DD it would suck balls lol.

Buff4Prez Yo 04-22-2011 03:05 AM

any integra thats not a DA/DB1/DB2 will have a hydro tranny.

jdm cars equipped with b16's that arent obd 0 were paired with hydro trannys
