heyy my car is automatic right now,and im thinking about doing the swap
a guy will do it for 4700 bucks this includes GSR motor+LSD tranny+5 speed swap..is this a good deal or u kno somewhere else
and dont tell me to sell the car,i tried selling it for a year now..its hard 2 sell a souped up car..
but anywayz if anyone has any other alternative way or if guys have done it on ur own cars plz tell me how much it cost etc...

JDM West in Streetsville did my friends ls/vtec, auto to manual swap for a lot cheaper than that. Clean job too.

The best and cheapest way to do the conversion is to sell your car and another one that's manual with the same or better parts in it. Any conversion takes patience and a deep pocket book.

:jeez: lol. but yes Rexx is right... if ur car is not like.. neon green or baby blue "souped up"
than unsoup it and try sell it and get another car.
probably that GSR motor is juNK too.

re

im alrdy paying an arm and a leg for insurance for my integra RS, imagine a 21 year old driving a GSR integra..my insurance will be SKYYYYYYYYYYYY high..id rather just do the swap.
if i do it..would it be the same as if i juss bough a 5 speed integra or itll be different?

ummm ...most ins. companies rate the GSR like a GS i.e an LS, RS etc. In any case, you will be paying an arm and a leg to do the swap, just like you do for your insurance rates.

"If you want to play, you have to pay" that goes for cars, girls, toys and of course insurance.

If you don't want to pay high insurance, get a toyota corolla.

judging from your avatar, your car is pretty "done up", it'll be hard as hell to sell to buy a 5spd. good luck with the swap, and make sure you get the motor compression tested.
