i'm trying to put my PSP into my car, so that i can have it play through the deck and system. i thought that the easiest way was to buy a cable that has a headphone jack that goes into the PSP then turns into two RCA cables. now on the back of my deck ( sony CDX-M620 or some ----) there is two RCA inputs. i plug in the RCA's from the PSP and nothing. i did notice that the RCA inputs on the back of the deck say "BUS audio in". WTF does this mean? because i'm getting no sound from the PSP through the deck. mystery yO :*****:

 

I think you have to buy something extra for it to work.
I think the Part # is XA-300. It's pretty expensive too.

 

i called my bro and he says there's a set of RCA's that say AUX IN. it doesn't plug on to the casing of the head unit but it have black cables running along with the rest of the wiring. the Bus thingy is for a cd changer. you also might have to turn on the option in the head unit. i'm not sure how to do it on sony's but on my kenwood i had to put it on standby and press and hold the volume **** to get in the menu

ok, after some net research, it turns out my deck has no inputs to hookup aux. sources. however it does have the two inputs for the CD changer. is it possible to utilize those? or perhaps hook up the PSP another way?

you need the aforemented xa300 to turn the cd changer input into a aux input. the rcas send the audio from the changer. look for a xa300 or buy a new deck.

ok, ------- get over yourselves. i will get a damn compustar as soon as i can afford it. i just borrowed the psp for now off of a friend to see if i have enough use for it then i'll buy it. it's not like i'll leave the ------- thing in the car. i was going to get a compustar on friday but then some fucktard had to come and rip me off; you all know this, so the need to tell me again is why? not to mension that i'm not driving the car anywhere where i can't see it.
