hey everyone,

I was sizing up my integra the other day that we just bought and it seems to be out of align, the camber appears to be off. Is there a camber adjustment or is there something else i should be looking at. I was wondering if the springs were sagging?

Any suggestions?

Guaranteed it's your toe that's out. If you're stock height, then your camber is fine.

the camber seems to be off, i can see a little wear on the inside of the tires.

is your car lowered? if so, get your toe zero'd out, leave your camber as it is, and call it a day. having negative camber won't hurt the performance of your integra, it'll actually handle better while cornering. a camber kit won't be needed unless you want camber adjustability, or if there's a +/- 3 degree difference on either side of your front wheels.

edit: believe it or not, tire wear isn't caused by camber, it's caused by toe.

negative camber also fucks up your wheel bearings... i had my teg slammed like jonn's and within a year, my front wheel bearings started griding.

$300 each side from honda... i got my driver side done last october and finally got my passenger side done last weekend.

Yes i do know what toe is, but i asked a simple question and your answer just sounded like an opinion rather than a statement. Thanks for the information in your first response but it did not need the sarcasim in the second. :yeah:

I've seen toe wear first hand so I know exactly what I'm talking about. And without an alignment, how do you know your camber is off?

Well toe will scuff the tires, cupping them if it is really bad but the wear is minimal. The rear wheels appear to be tipped in at the top, and the wear seems to be on the inside of the tire. Now it maybe a slight toe issue as well but from just a quick look that is what i saw. Anyway, no worries, I am of course gonna get an alignment but where i do not know a lot about the integra setup i thought i may pose the question as there maybe a problem that you guys may know of that i do not.
