4-door GSR vs 4-door LS

I need to buy a 4-door integra - just not sure if it is worth the trouble to go down to the states to get a 4-door GSR - looking at the torque numbers, they are identical - GSR has 30 more horses though

Is there really a big difference between both cars - I drove both and couldn't really find a big difference - but I could be wrong as I need to live with both cars for some time to really know the difference

Just looking for input/experience with both choices

Thanks

Its not worth the hassle. Buy a 4-door LS, and do a GS-R motor swap if you want.

just buy a 2 door gsr

4 door GSR's were only sold in the states. Honestly I would get the LS. Youll save alot of money on insurance and on the price of the car. If anything swap in an R tranny and you should be happy.

i test drove a gsr first, then an ls...my ass dyno told me that gsr's pull harder in higher rpms then the ls...thats pretty much an obvious...

most practical would be grab an ls, swap motor!!!save on duty and all that, as well as insurance!!

Get the RS lighter body than the ls due to some missing features but if you swap the gsr in there it will bring even better results.....although i must say i really do miss the sunroof :(

I'd get an LS and swap the motor... I've seen a few auto-tragic ones go for pretty cheap but since you're doing motor wont matter as long as you get yourself a good frame and body.

id buy an ls too and swap something.. i always liked how the 4dr R's in japan looked.. why dont u do that? something unique in canada, do a whole 4 dr R convertion. :)

Thanks guys,

Is there any modifications needed when changing to the V-tech motor - also would it make sense to change teh tranny as well to the GSR tranny

How much would an engine swap cost ?? - and also an engine and tranny swap ??

Thanks

you can use the LS transmission, but you'll be slowing down that GSR motor alot. along with the motor, tranny (if you want) you'll need the wireing harness and ECU. as for cost, give -------- a ring.

Already did that :P

go for the 4 door. There not too many of them rolling around. finding one that is 5spd and in good condition is a mission though. I had to drive down to St. Catherines to pick mine up, back in 03. 1995 GS Sedan. Fully loaded with leather and roof.
