3rd grind problem
 

whenever i push my car my 3rd gear grinds i first thought it was becasue of me since im just learning how to drive stick but i made sure i do it probably and when i try to hit 3rd it grinds evrytime any ideas?????

synchros are gone.

most integras are like that

at wat rpms does it grind at?

im not 100% sure but it does that when i rev higher than 5 i believe but it doesnt do it all the time though ill grind 4/5 times so yea

wow that sucks lol so i dont kno much about trannies should i just change the 3rd gear syncor or all of them if i have the tranny out anyways and where can i get them AND lol is it something i have to have done professionally or me and a few friends can do in my garage

well you need someone who knows what they are doing and any i believe Teknotic carries trannies? not sure, call and find out, im sure they can help you, its a big job if you dont have the right tools and know how to change the tranny, better make some quick freinds here man...

4 now, try to put some syncromesh in it! It should help it out a bit.

you can always double-clutch when changing into 3rd.

im just learning hwo to drive stick man lol and hey a k swap is a great idea ill do that with my 50 bucks in the bank lol
