for awhile now it's taken 2-3 pulls to pop my hood (car's been sitting)..
so i put oil on the latch up front to keep it moving.. but now it won't pop at all.. the cable from the inside seems tight so it doesn't feel snapped.. anyone know how to get around this?

i'm guessing jack it up and reach from below?

even though it's snowing out i wanna take front bumper/fenders off to work on them inside while the car still sits.. lol
