200KM+ Service Schedule
Hey,
I'm picking up my first 'teg, she's an old one with ~230,000km. She's got no service records, and sold as-is. But she looks clean and needs to last at least a year or two, so I want to freshen her up a little. What precautionary service should I do? I'm considering: -Air Filter (or just replace it with a CAI) -Spark Plugs (Platinum or Iridium?) and Wires -Distributor Cap and Rotor -Timing Belt -Water Pump -Manual Transmission Fluid -Flush Radiator -Adjust Valves -Brake System Flush -Fuel Filter -Injector cleaners Suspension might need replacement too. Bushings/springs/dampers? Then oil change every 5k or so? What else should be taken care of? BTW: How much will this cost approx? For a shop to do... Cheers -k |
I'd estimate about $2400 parts + labour. I'm no expert but thats just a rough estimate
