before u get those put on my advice to you is to buy rear lower control arms and 6 new bolts for lca's. this is because the bolts either snap or end up spinning the bushing inside the stock lca's. and if worse comes to worse you might need to get another pair of front forks because that bolt tends to break as well. everything i just told you happened to me and a friend of mine. both out of a car for a week trying to find last minute parts.

ya i just did mine n i snaped 3 bolt and it was a bitch 2 get them out after, i would say just cut them off n buy new one's from honda

do you currently have stock suspension in the car now?

i would be willing to do it. i have a lot of experience with frozen bolts, and i have a bunch of OEM extras on hand. :)

PM me and we'll work something out.

I always suggest for people to get the bolts for rear LCA's just incase but I've done this on my civic, Integra [couple of times on each] 2 vw's and my buddies ef and haven't snapped a bolt yet. No penetrating oil either.
I have 2 extra rear bolts somewhere and also a set of DC and also EG front forks just incase.

its probly rusted to ---- right now, you need to burn 2 3 bolts off in order to get the rear ones off, the fronts will come out easy tho and yeah your gunna need rear lca's and 6 new bolts

D.T.P 09-17-2009 01:09 AM

I don't follow why you need 6 bolts for rear LCA's? You don't have to take the lower control arm out. Just take the bolt out that holds the strut, take the 2 bolts that hold the camber arm and you can get the strut out with a small pry bar. Makes everything so much easier. I swaped my rears and it took about 15min including jacking the car, taking the wheel off swaping the strut and reassembling everything.

DreamTeg 09-17-2009 08:39 AM

ye but if that bolt that holds the strut is one that is seized then what. he gunna end up needing a new bolt and bushing and bushings run 30-40$ at honda when he could just save the hassle and trouble and upgrade everything while hes already at that stage. every car i see lowered with one pieces also has aftermarket lca's on it.
