Default WTB: Catalytic Converter

Hi Everyone!

Looking for a catalytic converter for my 2000 Integra GS. Unfortunately, I just started smelling rotten eggs... Please let me know if you have one!

Thanks

Try a different gas station. The sulfur smell is usually from the gas. Low sulfur gas like Shell should fix the smell problem.

Thanks for the reply. I went by my mechanic today. He actually advised me not to use Shell? I have been using Shell for at least 2 years now exclusively (well... 90% of the time). He advised me to switch to Petro Canada and see if that fixes the problem. I guess we shall see.

I should have mine off my car soon once i install my test pipe.

I only use Shell, I find my cars run the best with that in the tank.

Actually on the contrary, Shell was the first top tier gasoline available in Canada. PC and Sunoco are also top tier however they use ethanol in their high octane so that = less power. Ethanol contains less specific energy than gasoline. Shell 91 has no ethanol.

In any case you're on the right track, try a different gas station. Replacing the cat would have been a waste of money.
