5 speed, shifts great



the bad first (get it out of the way):
- needs body work, paint
- spitting a bit of oil and didn't pass etest in oct '08, likely cat, i have a couple of them (magnaflow)
- brakes will likely need changing. white box usually run about $140 ALL round for rotors AND pads, 4 wheel disc
- might need new battery, or at least a charge... i can LIKELY get a new battery replaced for this one

the good:
- all power options, and everything works (a/c, heat, locks, windows, mirrors, sunroof) except rear drivers side window.. likely just a wire fix
- timing belt and waterpump were done at rebuild, which was around 15,000km ago
- fairly new plugs, wires, dizzy cap (and have a new rotor, just didn't get around to it)
- rebuild motor with 10:1 je pistons and other upgrades - rebuild/build-up done at 216,586km by answer engine works
- head was checked in the spring, craigtrd can vouch it is PERFECTLY in spec and no cracks
- head gasket was changed in spring
- oil/filter done regularily 5,000km or less, castrol gtx used specifically since rebuild
- tranny oil changed in spring '08 with gm syncromesh, shifts perfectly
- 14" 5-spoke alloys with meaty tread on m+s tires
- h&r sport lowering springs
- koni yellow shocks - used only a matter of a couple months
- 98-01 oem all-red tails
- sunroof with no leaks
- interior in great condition, no rips.. a TINY bit of fiberglass on one front seat
- will sell with an aftermarket deck in it since i don't have an oem deck anymore
- 6.5" components up front, infinity 6x9's in the rear, will sell with 4channel sony amp, all wired already, rca's already wired for second amp for sub too
- tinted all round... 20%, and it was done by tint king about 4yrs ago
- front abs plastic lip, mugen style unpainted black
- vibrant j-spec 4-2-1 stainless header (was $500 retail alone!), 2.25" magnaflow highflow cat, stainless 2.25" piping, 18" magnaflow resonator, 2.25" oval magnaflow muffler
- b&m dual bend short shifter
- itr strut bar unless it sells before car is bought
- blacked out clear corners with amber bulbs

information on rebuild:
- 10:1 82mm je pistons
- rod bearings (part# 4b9401)
- main bearings (part# ms2095p)
- thrust bearings (part# tw6015)
- performance alloy rings and pins
- competition (3-angle) valve grind
- resurface head
- regrind cams
- oil pump (part# oph18s)
- polished crank
- bored cylinders, deck, block
- resize connecting rods
- reface rockers


i have more information and will update again shortly with pics and more basic information with exact km's, km's at rebuild, etc...

this is a GREAT price if you just take parts off to use them and part out the rest.. i just don't want this sitting here and pulling parts here and there.. rather it gone all at once.. the suspension and exhaust is easily worth over $1000-1200 itself.. plus deck, wiring, amp, speakers.. and other aftermarket parts

and no, the car will come on 5-star se alloys (looks like del sol alloys) - 14" painted gunmetal with red lip

i can't edit the original post but the ITR strut bar has sold

i also have extra parts i'll include with the car - aem v2 intake, energy suspension front bushing set, and pretty much whatever else i can find as parts for the teg... haha
