B16A motor
 

Im selling my JDM B16A motor(168hp model). Its currently still in my EF and anyone who wants to hear it, drive it, test it can come by. But it will be pulled in the next 2 weeks. To make this easier.... here and some questions that might be asked.

1. How many kms are on it?
The motor was from a half-clip JDM 1994 Civic SiR-ll car. The odometer was reading 36,000kms. I have put about 40,000 on it from then.

2. Does it burn oil?
Of course it does! Every ------- motor does. But I have NEVER added any oil in between oil changes. So to the naked eye, its doesnt burn oil(i check every 2-3weeks)

3. Is the motor "mint"?
Im sick and ------- tired of people on this board and others putting "mint" in their description. Is my motor "mint"? ---- NO! If it was it would be brand new from the factory;) But it is very clean and in extremely good condition.

4. How about regular maintenance?
When i replaced my clutch i also replaced the timing belt(approx 4,000kms ago) Oil is changed every 5,000kms with Castrol Syntec 5W-30. I JUST replaced the plugs with NGK Platinum's. I take care of my ---- people, so everything looks and performs well under the hood. When i popped the VC 2 weeks ago everything was light golden brown color. NO deposits and NO excessive wear on the cams.

5. Why are you selling it?
Im looking to downgrade and found a killer deal on a stock B20. Im 29 years old, im looking for the fastest motor.

6. What comes with the motor/is it modded?
Well, the car comes with a P28 chipped for a OBD-1 B16A with the Vtec popping at 5,000rpm. Comes with a Fuel pressure regulator and gauge. Comes with all the regular stuff like dizzy, both manifolds, fuel rail, throttle body ect. No transmission people!

7. Can I come and look or test drive it?
Of course you can!! My motor will be in my car for another 2 weeks until its pulled.My contact info is below

8. How much are you selling it for?
Since i dont know much about the "retail" market for these motors, im looking for best offer. Its a very clean and well running motor. **EDIT- after some research i found that these motors are being sold upwards of $1000+ which is nuts. Not lookin for crazy money**
