brake pads!!
***recommend me something only if u have had experience with please***
hey guyz need some quick input, i need to change my front brakes ASAP and just need ur opinion on what the best brake pad will be best suited for me.
I daily drive the car, sometimes track or take it to drag strip.
keep in mind it will be driven through winter too.
oh and tell me where i can buy it at, prefer local stores rather than online shops.
will not spend more than $100

I use the KVR CF on my Civic (my track car) and they have a lot of initial bite and can be easily modulated. There is little to no fade after a few hard braking runs. I even have them on my daily and they react the same.
Talk to Eric at -------- - I got them from him back in May.

I have PBR/Axiss Metal Masters and the pads stop really well, but they offer very little modulation and feedback.
I've also driven Bryan's civic plenty of times with the KVR's and they're the best bang for the buck from the pads I've had experience with. They have better modulation and feedback and stop within the same distances as the pbr's.

i have these http://kvrperformance.com/store/prod...oducts_id=7472 i have no complaints about them. the stopping power is great. i've fed them a beating thanks to Hamiltons mountain passes and only got very little fade out of them.

OEM Blank rotors FTW!

On an integra there is really no point in getting x-drilled rotors, you're never really going to reach that performance envelope to see a difference. ( unless maybe your car is a tricked out race car )
However on a Porsche or Ferrari there is a definite improvement and need, that's why x-drilled come factory stock on these vehicles

I just recently did my front brakes...i bought Brembo blanks ($42 each) and EBC greenstuff pads ($80) and installed them myself. The brembo blanks+ebc greens stop ALOT better compared to what was there before. They stop good but the one complaint i have is brake dust, its black and lots of it LOL, but they are quiet and they stop great.

i use PBR/Axxis Ultimate pads on the cheapest auto parts store special blank rotors.......great stopping power. i don't think i spent more than 120 bucks for the front rotors and pads. the only thing i hate about these pads is the amount of brake dust they give off....its unbelievable how dirty the wheels get so fast. but the car stops like a champ......they work really well......
i used to have KVR front pads......they worked good when hot.....they sucked *** when cold......they needed 3-4 good stops before they started to do anything. but after that they worked really well. the hotter you got them the harder they would "bite" into the rotor. they are also good for keeping brake dust off your wheels. they don't dust alot like the PBR/Axis pads i have now.
